TOWN OF PREBLE

Notice is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Preble for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027 has been completed and filed at the office of the Town Clerk where it is available for inspection by any interested persons.

Further notice is hereby given that the Board of the Town of Preble will hold a Public Hearing on the 2027 Preliminary Budget at the Preble Town Hall, 1968 Preble Road, Preble, NY 13141, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 7pm and at said hearing any person may be heard for or against the Preliminary Budget or against any items therein contained.

Pursuant to Section 113 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the Town of Preble are hereby specified as follows:

            Supervisor                                           $ 8,000/yr.

            Town Clerk                                          $12,500/yr.

            Justice                                                 $15,000/yr.

            Councilpersons (4)                             $ 1,800 each/yr.

            Highway Superintendent                   $69,000/yr.
